A long feedback report is not practice by itself. Its value appears when you investigate one point, change something specific in your response and use that skill again on an unfamiliar task.

Check the input and the evidence

Keep the prompt, written response and any speaking recording beside the report. If the system misheard a word or misunderstood part of the task, the related suggestion may be unreliable. Ask which sentence or segment supports each criticism. A broad label does not yet give you an action. Treat automated bands as estimates rather than official results or proof of readiness. The feedback is a source of hypotheses to investigate against your actual work.

Choose one or two meaningful revisions

If the response drifts away from the prompt, fix relevance before polishing vocabulary. In a practice paragraph, replace an unrelated reason before worrying about repeated words. Save the original version so you can explain the change. Do not accept a suggestion that alters your intended meaning merely because it sounds sophisticated. Revision should make your own answer clearer, rather than turn it into a text whose argument or vocabulary you cannot explain independently.

Separate transfer from a higher repeat score

After revising, record what changed and why. On another day, complete a fresh task with the same target. A higher automated score for a repeatedly edited answer does not establish independent control on a new subject. For an important readiness decision, consider several fresh samples and teacher feedback where needed. This routine supports educational use of automated feedback. An official test result comes from the official assessment process, not from the number displayed beside a practice response.

For your next session

  • Compare feedback with the input.
  • Choose one meaningful change.
  • Keep the original response.
  • Test the skill on a fresh task.

A common question

What if a teacher and AI disagree?

Examine the response evidence and the prompt, and ask the teacher for a specific explanation. Do not treat the automated estimate as the final authority.
